About
Dr. Prathap H.J. is a highly skilled specialist in Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT imaging, and Theranostic treatments. He completed his MBBS from Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences in 2016 and gained early oncology exposure while working as a resident in Medical Oncology department at HCG Cancer Hospital, Bengaluru.
Driven by a strong interest in oncology, he pursued post-graduation in Nuclear Medicine from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai (2020) and became a Radiological Safety Officer certified by BARC, Mumbai. He has expertise in advanced Radionuclide Theranostics with international training at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Australia. He is a pioneer in FAPI PET imaging and therapy, with presentations at ASCO 2025, EANM 2025. He currently heads the Department of Nuclear Medicine & Theranostics at Aster Whitefield Hospital, Bengaluru.
